Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia) Cost & Procedure Information

This procedure, technically referred to as Gynecomastia, reduces the size of enlarged, female-like breasts in men. For men who feel self-conscious about their appearance, breast reduction surgery can help. The procedure removes fat and or glandular tissue from the breasts, and in extreme cases, removes excess skin, resulting in a chest that is flatter, firmer, and better contoured.

Overdeveloped male breasts are normally the cause of either genetics or hormone imbalances. This can ultimately lead to self-consciousness about an emasculating appearance. Going through with male breast reduction can transform your chest into a more masculine shape and size.

Some clients or are transforming from FTM will also be interested in Breast Reduction surgery to help contour their chest to a more masculine form. We perform male breast reduction surgery for patients in Atlanta and surrounding suburbs near Marietta, Cumming, Kennesaw, and Alpharetta.

Male Breast Reduction Procedure

The procedure is different for each patient. Some men will only need fatty tissue removed through liposuction. Other's will require an excision of excess glandular breast tissue and skin. Surgical incisions are made within the natural contours of the pectoral muscles and the fat or breast tissue is removed. The surgery will leave scars but these can heal well following regular maintenance after the surgery.

"By far one of the nicest and most professional offices I have been to. Plus he is an outstanding surgeon and has a good bedside manner, which if you are anything like me, the bedside manner is really important. I've had two surgeries with him (both on my chest) and I am thrilled with the result! The only thing difficult about the office is trying to spell his last name. smile" -
