Botox Injections - Fix Wrinkles through Botox or Dysport
Botox is a temporary solution for "frown lines" and "crow’s feet" around the eyes and forehead wrinkles. Botulinum toxin (Botox) was used therapeutically in humans for over 20 years before it was initiated for aesthetic facial procedures. We can apply Botox or Dysport (a Botox alternative) to help our clients decrease wrinkles or stop excessive sweating.
How does Botox work?
Botox is applied in a set of tiny injections which take about 10 minutes. The toxin takes 2 to 3 days to take effect and lasts 3-6 months. It works by weakening the muscles of facial expression which are under the skin. Once the tone of these muscles is weakened, the pull of the muscles relaxes and the wrinkle smooths out. Botox is utilized to enhance your appearance and does not take the place of standard facial plastic surgeries such as facelift and eyelid surgery.
Botox is also used for area reduction of excessive sweating.
